Marie Huntley worked for many years at Marsh & McLennan. Then she worked for several companies in the Primary Group, including a Lloyd’s Broker, a nationally based Coverholder and a specialist Professional Indemnity broker.  So her experience comes primarily from an open plan office at the heart of these businesses and from responding to the day-to-day requirements and challenges of colleagues. This includes all legal and regulatory aspects of the operation of Binding Authorities in the commercial insurance sector, including  those placed in the Lloyd’s or  Company markets and also bespoke  binding authority arrangements.

As a Legal and Compliance Director, Marie was also registered with the FSA as an Approved Person, and has held those responsibilities personally. 

Nick Davies worked for insurance market law firms and latterly in-house at Zurich, so again has built up his expertise from within the market.
